It took a while for her to discover the Pokemon that Mama had put in her bag, because she was busy being upset about not being able to find Sakutaro and then distracted by the Kitty Granny. But when she did find Sakura in her ball she was very excited. It looks like Sakura is going to grow up to be a witch, just like Maria!
Sakura grew up into a Hattrem at the end of the first weird weekend, after Maria was reunited with Emporio. Now she can hit people with her big braids!
Her ability is Healer. Sometimes she heals her allies' status conditions. Her nature is Impish; she's highly curious. Found in Maria's bag from Mama. Level 5 when first met.

Syaoko is a special pretty Bounsweet that's a different color! Maria found her on Route 29 when she was waiting to meet Emporio. She smells really yummy. Sometimes Maria's other pokemon lick her, but she's pretty sure that's just grooming... right?

Maria found this funny star Pokemon in a pool by the gym and after Vine beat him up a little, he decided he wanted to be part of a strong team like hers. Maria named him after one of the demons from the Ars Goetia who also looks like a funny star! Maria got a fancy stone at the department store in Celadon for him, but Sakura says that Decarabia says that he wants to learn all his moves before he uses it to become a fancy star.
His ability is Natural Cure. He heals his status problems when switching out. His nature is Rash; he's thoroughly cunning. Met in Cerulean City. Level 19 when first caught.
When Legosi posted that he had bunny eggs for people, Maria didn't hesitate to claim one. She hopes that someday little Chiester will be as good at fighting people as her namesakes!
Her ability is Run Away. She can always get away from wild pokemon. Her nature is Quirky; she's alert to sounds. Received as an egg from Legosi.
When Kiri came to meet Maria in Saffron to breed special eggs with Syaoko, she also brought an egg for Maria! One with a special hidden ability too! Maria named him Seakitty as a pun on 'umineko,' the name for the kind of black-tailed gulls that live around Rokkenjima. He had a lot of moves when he finally hatched, right before Maria and Emporio arrived in Fuschia.
His special hidden ability is Rain Dish. He gets a little HP back in the rain. His nature is Jolly; he loves to eat. Received as an egg from Kiri.
